Product description

Basic structure

The WT373 offers the option of a generous and accessible measuring range. It is supplied in segments to simplify on-site installation by our engineers. The duct consists of a welded steel profile construction and galvanized sheet metal. Large inspection flaps in all relevant segments allow easy access to the inside of the wind tunnel.

Drive

The WT278 is driven by four vibration-decoupled axial fans. This ensures low-noise system operation. The nancial cell and the tail unit are matched to the fans in order to generate a swirl-reduced flow.

Flow preparation

The long diffuser, whose low opening angle counteracts flow separation, flows into the expanding large corners. The wind tunnel has a large screen chamber. This contains four screens at an optimum distance from each other. These non-divided stainless steel screens are accessible via inspection flaps for easy cleaning. A honeycomb straightener further reduces the swirl of the flow.

Measurement

The measurement in the wind tunnel takes place in the 6.5 meter long measuring chamber with a cross-section of 2×2.5 meters. The measuring chamber consists of several segments, each with a length of 3 meters. The sides of the segments can be lifted using an electric lever mechanism to allow optimum accessibility.
